Block collections and randomization

An example of a block collection is shown with the randomization setting enabled.

Block collections allow you to group multiple question blocks together and apply shared settings across all the blocks inside.

To create a collection:

  1. Switch from the Questions view to the Collections view at the top of the survey navigation panel.

  2. Hover over the first block you want to add and click the Add to collection icon.

  3. The block will be inserted into a new collection.

  4. Add additional blocks to the collection by dragging and dropping them, or using the Move modal (available in the more options menu on a block).

Once you’ve created a collection, you can randomize the order of the blocks inside. Simply hover over the collection, click the More options icon, and toggle on Block randomization.
