I know this was asked before but the then given answer does not work for me unfortunately.
I am having the following problem:
In two kinds of grid questions, I would like to give respondents the possibility to uncheck a previously/mistakenly checked radio button.
In the one scenario this might be needed after mistakenly checking a radio button next to a "Other - please specify" free format box which would then be forced to be filled after the radio button was checked.
In the other scenario, radio button and a free format field are placed next to each other in a grid. Only one of the answers has to be given which is why I would like to enable the respondent to unselect the radio button in case he/she has accidentally selected it despite having already answered the free format box.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
