CBC with differrent scenarios and sequential CBC structure

I am currently working on designing a Choice-Based Conjoint (CBC) study and would appreciate any input regarding the following design approach:

  1. CBC with Different Scenarios:
I plan to implement a CBC where respondents are presented with different scenarios โ€” for example, varying contextual setups or framing conditions โ€” and within each scenario, they complete a set of choice tasks.

  2. Sequential CBC Structure (Linked CBCs):
Additionally, I am considering a two-stage CBC setup where the choice selected by the respondent in the first CBC is carried forward and inserted as an option within the second CBC. The goal is to explore how preferences evolve or how the first choice influences subsequent decisions.

Any advice, shared experiences, or suggestions for relevant resources would be highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your time and insights!
