shelf design with fixed products but sometimes missing products

We are planning for a shelf design with just 2 attributes - (1) brandxsize= 7 levels and (2) various tiered prices. Visually will be 2 rows and 4 columns. 1 option for each brandxsize combo in 7 fixed positions. Leaving 1 cell (bottom right) for our none option. So pretty straight forward.

Question is, in reality, stores don't typically carry all 7 brandxsize product options. So what we want to do is randomly not show a few of the products. The others can stay in their positions so no shifting is needed. Each in its fixed spot but for a few of them, there randomly would just be a blank there (almost like that specific product is out of stock with an empty space for it - that's not what we're testing, but visually for the respondent it amounts to the same thing).

Thanks
