Store ID in URL and return to homepage

Hello together,
I get participants for my online survey from a marketing research institute. The marketing research institute invites his members to participate in my survey and sends them the link to my online survey. Participants get an individual ID from the marketing research institute named tic to identify them. This ID (tic) contains 120 alphanumerical characters and I have to store that tic during participant takes part. At the end of the survey or if participants are screened out or if quota is full participants have to return to the homepage of the marketing research institute via link and give back the tic stored in the URL so that participants get their incentives. I created a variable for tic on the start page as a pass-in field. Now the problem is that the return of the tic to the marketing research institute via URL doesn't work. SSI Web doesn't know the term 'return_tic'. The link e.g. for screenouts is: http://mingle.respondi.com/s/371393/ospe.php3?c_0002=0&return_tic=[%tic%].
Any idea how to manage this?
I am using SSI Web 8.2.4.
Thanks a lot!
