Terminating respondents based on their zip code

Hello,

I understand the above logic but how would I shorten this if I have a list of 1,085 terminating zip codes. Is there a way for the zip codes to be loaded into a data base and use Perl to check each zip code in the db and if found terminate after the respondent enters his/her zip code?

I have never worked with databases and Perl, any help will be greatly appreciated.
