Community guidelines

The Sawtooth Software Community is a way to interact with other software users and Sawtooth employees. It’s a great way to receive feedback on a current project or ask general questions. Creating a post

In order to interact with the community, you must create an account.

The community includes many valuable discussions. Use the search function to see if your question is already answered.

When creating a post, try to be as descriptive as possible. Greater detail will result in better help from community members.

If your question is about a particular Sawtooth Software product (Lighthouse Studio space, Discover space), please post it in the appropriate space. If it is about a general topic, please use the General space.

Make sure to add relevant tags. Good tags are usually single word nouns like ‘CBC,’ ‘Simulator,’ or ‘Constructed list.’

Forum use and rules

This forum is designed for the benefit of Sawtooth Software users and other interested parties. The subject matter should focus on marketing/opinion research practice, tips for Sawtooth Software users, and the improvement of Sawtooth Software platforms.

Participants are invited to post questions, answers, or comments. We encourage participants to share information openly to promote general learning, in the spirit of cooperation, fairness, and integrity.

Networking is encouraged. Self-promotion is discouraged. Posts that are profane, lewd, obscene, illegal, or of an illegal subject matter, or link to another site that is profane, lewd, obscene, illegal, or of an illegal subject matter are strictly prohibited.

Sawtooth Software will attempt to monitor the site and we reserve the right to delete or edit any posting (for example, to remove offensive content). To help us maintain the site, participants are invited to report any offensive message or violations. Because postings are immediate (in order to facilitate communication), we cannot protect visitors (including minors) from the possibility of viewing offensive content.

You may be held liable for content submitted through your account. Sawtooth Software is not to be held liable for any content submitted in the Community. We cannot be held liable for claims of lost business or damages due to postings, or our deletion or editing of postings. No endorsement of individuals or views is expressed or implied.

Removing a post

If you would like to remove one of your posts or comments, navigate to the post, click the three dot icon at the top right and click \"Delete post.\"

Deleting your account

If you would like to delete your Sawtooth Community account, click your profile image at the top right of the screen, select \"Your profile\", and then click the \"Delete my account\" button.
